We’re proud to be partnering with Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre (GCEC) ahead of its opening, building skills, confidence and a more inclusive community. In the lead‑up to launch, genU’s Eastern Hub Community Centre hosted the GCEC culinary team as they tested menus and prepared kitchen operations. What began as a short‑term operational solution has since evolved into a long‑term collaboration, supporting inclusive employment pathways for people with disability. “Having the convention centre team working alongside us at Eastern Hub has not only supported their operational readiness but also opened the door to exciting long‑term opportunities that benefit both organisations and, most importantly, employment pathways for people with disability,” David Johnstone, Hospitality Manager, genU As a certified social trader, genU reinvests into community impact and currently supports more than 350 people in paid, meaningful roles across our services. #GCEC #SocialImpact #Partnerships #InclusiveEmployment #Geelong #SocialTrader #SocialProcurement
