That's a wrap on Australian Energy Week 2026 in Melbourne! It was a fantastic two days connecting with utilities, partners and industry leaders, showcasing Gentrack's capabilities and discussing the trends shaping the future of energy. Beyond the conversations at our booth, the Gentrack team was proud to contribute to the event agenda. Gentrack's Director of Partnerships, Suzanna Michell joined a panel discussion exploring the opportunities and challenges of Distributed Energy Resources (DER), while Principal Client Solutions Architect, Andre Williams, delivered a masterclass on how energy leaders are using process intelligence to accelerate AI adoption in field service. Andre shared practical examples of how AI agents can automate previously manual and time-consuming processes, helping utilities improve operational efficiency while delivering a better customer experience. By removing friction from complex service interactions, AI has the potential to transform the customer experience making previously tedious tasks simpler, faster and more intuitive for consumers. A big thank you to everyone who visited our booth, attended our sessions and shared their perspectives. The conversations throughout the event reinforced the importance of collaboration, innovation and utilising technology to expediate the path to a better energy future as our industry continues to navigate complex challenges. We look forward to continuing these discussions and working together to shape the future of energy.
