That’s a wrap on #BIO2026! 👏 Now that we've returned from San Diego, we're reflecting on an incredible week of conversations, collaboration, and renewed optimism for the future of biotechnology. Several themes stood out across the convention: 🔹 Patients remained at the center, with advocacy organizations continuing to shape development priorities and partnerships. 🔹 Greater incentives for orphan drug development and innovative ideas like data-sharing vouchers underscored the industry's focus on accelerating therapies for patients with unmet needs. 🔹 As advanced therapies mature, attention is shifting from creating flexible regulatory pathways to validating and implementing them consistently across programs. 🔹 Expanding biotech innovation beyond traditional hubs continues to be a priority, bringing investment, manufacturing, and talent to emerging regions around the world. 🔹 On the innovation front, in vivo CAR-T and engineered AAV capsids remained hot topics as next-generation approaches move closer to clinical reality. One of the highlights of our week was reconnecting with the rare disease community, including valued partners like SLC6A1 Connect and the Charlotte & Gwyneth Gray Foundation. These conversations embody what drives us every day: delivering solutions for patients through partnership, scientific excellence, and a shared commitment to advancing therapies that can change lives. As we settle back into our work, we're carrying forward the insights, new relationships, and momentum from the week. BIO once again reinforced that meaningful innovation doesn't happen in isolation. It happens through collaboration, partnership, and a shared commitment to bringing life-changing therapies to patients. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Genezen booths, shared your programs and the challenges you're working to solve, and made #BIO2026 such a memorable week. Many thanks to our partners at MassBio and BioCrossroads for hosting. We look forward to continuing the conversations in the months ahead.
