The Microplastics students embarked on a hands-on exploration of microplastics, one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time. The journey began with a field trip to Lake Geneva, where students collected samples to examine the presence of microplastics in this ecosystem. 🌊 Back in the class, students analyzed the samples, uncovering the contamination of our waters by microplastics. The highlight of the course came with their final group project where each group was tasked with creating a video presentation that not only showcased their findings but also addressed various aspects of the microplastics problem. Students dove deep into topics ranging from the sources of pollution to innovative solutions for reducing microplastic waste. The videos created by the students were not only informative but also powerful tools for raising awareness. Each project demonstrated their ability to apply scientific research in a meaningful, accessible way. Their passion and dedication to the issue were evident in every frame.
