We are proud to have been founding partner of the Venice Climate Week 2026, hosted at The Home of The Human Safety Net in the historic Procuratie, bringing together scientists, institutions, businesses, and communities to turn dialogue on climate into action. We believe the insurance industry has a distinct responsibility in the climate transition, not only to protect, but to prevent and to help build long-term resilience. Climate change is global in scale, urgent in nature, and complex in its implications, and no single actor can address it alone. That is why four of our leaders took the stage across different sessions: Andrea Sironi, Generali Chairman, opened the forum on Wednesday, Lucia Silva, Group Chief Sustainability Officer joined the “Finance Meets Responsibility” roundtable, Marco Sesana, Group General Manager, welcomed delegates on Friday morning, reaffirming Generali’s commitment to making sustainability a core pillar of how we do business, and Emma Ursich, Chief Executive Officer of The Human Safety Net and Head of Corporate Identity and The Historical Archives, explored the shift from extractive to regenerative economies. The conversation that happened in Venice matters. And we are glad to be part of it. 🌍 #VeniceClimateWeek #VCW26 #PlanetAqua #Generali4Sustainability
