Hungary’s Sustainability Hero in the 5th edition of #SMEEnterPRIZE is medencebag.   Based in Budapest, Medencebag transforms discarded advertising materials into handcrafted bags, combining creative design with circular economy principles. By giving a second life to surplus materials, the company saves around 1,600 kg of material every year (roughly 800 m² of canvas waste) while running upcycling workshops that help companies and citizens engage with circular economy principles first-hand.   Proof that good design and sustainability can share the same stitch.
