Berlin turned red this weekend – and what a sight it was! The 45th Generali Berlin Half Marathon brought together over 48,000 participants from across the world over two days – runners, wheelchair athletes, handbikers, inline skaters, children taking their very first strides. A record 42,563 runners from 134 nations crossed the start line, making this the biggest edition in the race’s history. At Generali, we believe sport is one of the most powerful forces for human connection. It crosses borders, breaks down barriers, and builds healthier, more resilient communities. That’s why our commitment to events like this goes beyond the finish line, and it’s about supporting people in living longer, healthier, more active lives. Through The Human Safety Net, we were proud to channel the energy of this event into something lasting: more than €30,000 raised for programmes bringing movement and play to children who need it most. To everyone who ran, cheered, volunteered, and made Berlin come alive – congratulations. You remind us why we do what we do. A special congratulations to Generali Deutschland AG for an extraordinary edition. 👏 #GeneraliBerlinHalfMarathon #LifetimePartner #TheHumanSafetyNet
