What started as a fever quickly became a life-threatening emergency for Gunnar. With every second counting, Life Flight helped get him to the specialized care he needed at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, where a dedicated pediatric team was ready to act. After facing respiratory failure, sepsis and even cardiac arrest, Gunnar fought his way back. Today, he’s a happy, healthy child — and a true Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Kid.
