It's official: our Omni 128 long-axial-field-of-view PET/CT has been installed at Erasmus MC—five years in the making. What does this change? For patients, faster and more comfortable scans at a significantly lower radiation dose—capturing the body in a single position rather than the multiple passes a conventional scanner needs. That matters especially for children and frail patients. For clinicians, it means catching smaller lesions earlier. For research, it opens the door to total-body dynamic imaging and the next generation of tracers and theranostics. Thank you to everyone who walked this road with us.
