Meeting summer travel demand starts with keeping fleets ready — and that takes investment in people, capacity, and technology. In partnership with Meridian International Center, GE Aerospace joined leaders from government, industry, the diplomatic community, and across sectors to talk about how AI is being used across aviation today, especially in maintenance work. GE Aerospace Chief Information Officer, David Burns shared how we are expanding capacity across our maintenance network, investing in workers, and applying AI in practical ways to support customers in the U.S. and around the world. We also demonstrated the AI Blade Inspection Tool, which is improving accuracy and reducing the time it takes, all while having a trained technician make the final call. Thank you to everyone who joined us, especially Dan Edwards, Florian Guillermet, Ruth Bajada, Carl Burleson, Alice Belcher, MBA/BSEE, Michael Scheferhoff.
