𝗥𝗲𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘀 | 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝘆 Reovirus continues to play a major role in broiler health. In 2025, we identified reovirus tenosynovitis (tendon sheath inflammation) in 259 necropsies, making it the most common post-mortem diagnosis in broiler chickens. It is important to realise that only a fraction of affected animals are submitted for diagnostics, meaning the actual impact is likely much higher.
