💚🌍 Exciting Announcement: Tijd om onze volgende keynote speaker aan te kondigen! 💚🌍 🎤 Met trots verwelkomen we Prof. Dr. Patricia van den Bemt als keynote spreker op het Green Care Research Symposium! Patricia van den Bemt is ziekenhuisapotheker, Hoofd Subafdeling Klinische Farmacie in het UMC Utrecht en hoogleraar klinische farmacie met focus op farmaceutisch zorgonderzoek. Als epidemioloog en klinisch farmacoloog verbindt zij medicatieveiligheid, doelmatigheid en duurzaamheid in de zorg. 💊🌱 Haar onderzoek richt zich op medicatieveiligheid en duurzame farmaceutische zorg, met aandacht voor het verminderen van geneesmiddelverspilling en het verantwoord inzetten van geneesmiddelen binnen een klimaatbewuste gezondheidszorg. Daarnaast is zij betrokken bij het PREWAPHARM‑project, waarin zij zich actief inzet voor het terugdringen van medicatieresten in het water. Patricia publiceerde meer dan 180 peer‑reviewed artikelen en is actief als lid of voorzitter van diverse landelijke commissies, waaronder de Wetenschappelijke Adviesraad van de KNMP en de duurzaamheidscommissie van de NVZA. Met haar brede expertise en sterke visie op duurzame medicatiezorg brengt Patricia een waardevolle en inspirerende bijdrage aan het symposium. Patricia van den Bemt is a hospital pharmacist and Head of the Subdepartment of Clinical Pharmacy at the University Medical Center Utrecht. She is also a professor of clinical pharmacy, with a specific focus on pharmaceutical health services research. As an epidemiologist and clinical pharmacologist, she integrates medication safety, efficiency and sustainability in healthcare. 💊🌱 Her research focuses on medication safety and sustainable pharmaceutical care, with attention to reducing medicine waste and promoting responsible use of medicines within a climate‑conscious healthcare system. In addition, she is involved in the PREWAPHARM project, through which she actively contributes to reducing pharmaceutical residues in water. Patricia has published over 180 peer‑reviewed papers and serves as a member or chair of several national committees, including the Scientific Advisory Board of the Royal Dutch Pharmacists Association and the Sustainability Committee of the Dutch Association of Hospital Pharmacists.
