Climate work is becoming everyone's work. But not everyone has the language, the frameworks, or the right people around them to act on it meaningfully. The Climate Impact Residency (Cohort 2) by CSRBOX was, for me, a step toward closing that gap. Over the course of the residency, I found myself thinking differently about things I thought I already understood - how Nature-based Solutions can do what hard infrastructure often can't, why Urban Heat Islands are as much a governance problem as a design one, and how landscape-level restoration demands a kind of systems thinking that goes well beyond planting trees. We also went deep on the mechanics of climate finance and what meaningful government partnerships actually look like on the ground — not in policy papers, but in practice. What stayed with me as much as the content was the community. Met with some amazing people who have already achieved so much and still curious about how they can do more.
