It takes precision, consistency and a clear understanding of the passenger journey. The second edition of the Grand Concours Culinaire, organised by TGV Lyria with gatesolutions, is a brilliant example of that balance: celebrating young culinary talent while staying grounded in the realities of onboard dining. Congratulations to Michaël Fessler, selected from more than 200 applicants, whose winning creation will be featured on the La Table menu for Autumn-Winter 2026/2027. Guided by Signature Chefs Michel Roth and Danny Khezzar, and shaped by the voices of culinary experts, passengers, and the TGV Lyria community, the competition shows how creativity, skill and operational thinking can come together beautifully on board.
