Best Halal Kitchen 2025–2026 — a proud recognition for gategourmet São Paulo–Guarulhos (GRU). Halal-certified since 2007, when the unit first began catering for Emirates, GRU has continued to strengthen its expertise over nearly two decades, later welcoming Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways and Royal Air Maroc. Today, GRU operates one of the strongest Halal catering operations in Latin America, including being the only unit in the region catering the Emirates A380, alongside daily services for Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines.| This award reflects years of discipline, learning and teamwork across the GRU and GIG units, where more than 750 colleagues uphold Halal procedures with care, respect and operational excellence.
