Job Opening: Gas Pipeline QA/QC Engineer 📍 Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Frequent travel to Southwest & other project sites) Type: 6-month contract (Extension based on performance) 📅 Application Deadline: June 24, 2025. Gasfleet Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our project team. As a premier energy services provider across West Africa, we deliver innovative solutions in oil, gas, and energy with precision and excellence. This role requires someone with strong quality control, pipeline integrity, and welding standards expertise to lead QA/QC efforts during pipeline construction across multiple sites in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for gas pipeline projects. Ensure compliance with ASME B31.8, B31.3, API 1104, and relevant industry codes. Supervise welding and NDT procedures, including hydrotesting, MPI, RT, UT, and PT. Conduct site inspections, pipeline testing, and integrity audits. Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to maintain high-quality standards. Prepare documentation, reports, and audits for quality compliance. Requirements: - 3–5 years of experience in pipeline construction and QA/QC management. - In-depth knowledge of pipeline codes (ASME, API, ISO). - Strong documentation and analytical skills. - Project Management certification (PMI) is a plus. - Willingness to travel frequently.
