From almost getting fired in Nov 2022 (saved thanks to my ex manager and a CTO who saw potential) to now a MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER 3 at Nugget, what a ride. 6 months ago, I took a bet on something that didn’t exist: Nugget was just a concept in my head. No playbook, no guarantees. But I decided to build, learn, and trust the process and the people. Fast forward: we’ve turned that idea into a real product, and I’ve grown more in these months than I ever imagined. The journey taught me two things: • Sometimes, the moments that break you are the same ones that build you. • Betting on yourself (and a scrappy team) pays off in ways a “safe” path never will.
