I built something that I believe can change how India's cities work. Introducing AwazUthao — India's first AI-powered Municipal Accountability Platform. The problem is simple but massive: Every day, millions of Indians face broken roads, overflowing drains, dead streetlights, and garbage dumps — with zero accountability from authorities. Existing systems like CPGRAMS auto-close complaints after 30 days whether resolved or not. City apps get abandoned. Officers ignore reports. Nothing changes. So I built the solution. 👇 Here's how AwazUthao works: 📸 Citizen takes a photo of a civic issue 🤖 Gemini AI auto-detects issue type, severity, department — in under 3 seconds 📋 Unique Grievance ID generated with a legal SLA deadline 🏛️ Authority Officer receives it — filtered to their city and department only 👷 Officer assigns a Thekedar (contractor) from the same department 🔨 Thekedar resolves the issue, uploads proof photos ✅ Officer verifies the work, marks resolved ⭐ Citizen rates the resolution — affecting officer and thekedar scores 📊 Everything is publicly visible on the Accountability Dashboard The 74th Constitutional Amendment of India gives every citizen the RIGHT to functional roads, clean water, and safe public spaces.
