On July 1, our GARDENA team in the Netherlands joined forces with UNICEF Nederland to bring our "One Drop At A Time" campaign to life in a meaningful way. Employees swapped their office chairs for running shoes and completed a relay of approximately 95 kilometres, from the GARDENA office in Almere to UNICEF Nederland in The Hague. Along the route, participants took turns carrying a 2kg GARDENA garden hose – a symbolic reminder of the daily reality faced by millions of children around the world who walk long distances every day to collect water for their families. For us, this was a one-day challenge. For many children, it is part of everyday life. The relay not only united colleagues from GARDENA and UNICEF around a shared purpose but also highlighted the impact of our long-standing partnership. Since 2018, we have been working together to improve access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene for children and families worldwide. This day was never about speed or competition. It was about raising awareness, inspiring action and demonstrating what we can achieve together. Since the start of our partnership, GARDENA and UNICEF have already helped provide access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene for more than 330,000 children and families. Together, we are working towards reaching 355,000 children and families by the end of 2026. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who ran, cheered and contributed. Together, we are helping create a blooming future - one drop at a time. 💧 #GARDENA #UNICEF #CleanWater
