What makes a sports investor actually different? Most funds in sport sit in one of two camps. On one side, IP investors — backing clubs, leagues, rights, the cash-generative assets that have always defined the industry. On the other, tech investors chasing the next platform play, often without the operating depth to understand how sport actually works. Almost nobody is both. At Gamma Waves we are setting the foundations to be able to do both.
