The GRAMA team at Game Theory Lab, IISc, has been working on one core question: how can small and marginal farmers in India earn more? Following this question, we started looking at carbon farming, in which farmers earn carbon credits by sequestering carbon in their soil or reducing their carbon footprint, which can then be sold as a legitimate source of income. In an effort to bring it all together, we explored the concept through various perspectives, resulting in an expository, interdisciplinary survey, now published in the Journal of the Indian Institute of Science.
