At GALACTIC, we don’t see sustainability as a side initiative, or even as a trade-off. We see it as a responsibility… but also as an opportunity to continuously improve how we operate and innovate. Because the reality is simple: 👉 the food and ingredients industry has a role to play 👉 and progress doesn’t come from statements, it comes from decisions Over the past year, we have focused on strengthening this approach by: - Advancing our work on Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, across operations and value chain - Developing our capabilities in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to better understand and communicate product impact - Embedding eco-design principles into our product development process - Continuing to build on our expertise in bio-based solutions through fermentation We know that some of the biggest challenges, especially beyond our own operations, require collaboration across the value chain. We know progress takes time, discipline, and continuous learning.
