Driven by an innate "can-do" spirit, his curiosity led him straight to a city traffic engineer. That spark launched his founder journey in 2014, supported by early validation from the University of Utah’s Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, which provided a $2,000 grant and became his very first customer. When the pandemic challenged the business, Mark navigated a critical inflection point by pivoting to analyze crowdsourced dashcam imagery from over 800,000 vehicles, scaling a solution that makes roads safer and more efficient. Today, Blyncsy leverages machine learning, AI, and computer vision to deliver intelligent roadway insights and automated, near real-time asset management.
