CEO & Founder at KOLIBRI | Next-generation bioproduction technologies
For most people, March = late snowfalls and hoping spring and warm weather arrives fast! For me, it’s looking back at 2025 and seeing all the incredible things our team has achieved (since I did not took the time to do it in January 😆). To be fair, a lot of my colleagues will agree that 2025 was a shit year for biotech. While we suffered from the current circonstances as well, the Kolibri team managed to turn it into a landmark year. 🚀 Our First Product We officially delivered our Demo Unit. This marks our transition from a bold concept to a physical reality, putting our vector-free transfection technology directly into the hands of those who need it. 🌍 Global Recognition We are incredibly proud to have ranked #11 in the Silicon Valley Startup World Cup . Competing on a global stage validated our mission: making CGT affordable through superior process engineering. 🤝 Strategic Synergy At Bpifrance Nordic Life Science Days, we expanded our connections in the European ecosystem, proving that our non-disruptive integration is exactly what the market needs to scale without friction. 💰 Expert Backing We successfully closed a key portion of our fundraising, supported by expert investors who understand that the future of medicine is built on the machines that produce it. After an amazing 2025, we’re gearing up towards an even more successful 2026! So what do we have planned? We are a process company at heart. As the industry moves toward in-vivo breakthroughs and standardized manufacturing, our ultrasound-driven systems will be there to ensure these cures are scalable and accessible. Partnering with key players is already underway, and will continue along 2026, helping up spread the word about what ultrasound can do to help patients get the best medicines available.
