The best sales conversations don’t start with selling !!! They start with listening 😉 🙉 I genuinely love delivering Situational Selling Skills training at Hilti. Every session is different. Every group brings new experiences. Every conversation creates a new perspective. And every time I am reminded of something simple: Sales is not really about the sale. It is about people. 🫂 It is about stepping into someone else’s world, understanding their challenges, asking the right questions, and truly listening - not just waiting for your turn to speak. Somewhere along the way, we started overcomplicating sales. We created endless frameworks, techniques, and processes… but at the core, great selling is still something very human: Connect. Understand. Help. 🌎 Someone once told me that sales and relationships have a lot in common - because both require trust, curiosity, and genuine connection. I think there is some truth in that 😉 The best salespeople I know are not the ones who talk the most. They are the ones who make people feel heard.
