🍷 The Decanter World Wine Awards 2026 results are in. As the world's largest wine competition, DWWA remains one of the industry's most respected benchmarks for wine quality—and this year delivered a number of record-breaking performances. Highlights include: 🏆 Only 50 wines (0.3% of entries) earned Best in Show. 🇫🇷 France achieved its strongest-ever result, winning 254 top-tier medals. 🇬🇧 The UK recorded its best performance to date and led the world in medals for sparkling wines in magnum format. 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇦🇷 Argentina, 🇧🇷 Brazil, and 🇺🇸 the United States all posted their strongest results in competition history. 🇺🇸 The US earned its highest-ever top-tier medal haul, with recognition extending beyond California to emerging regions including Texas, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
