Future Leaders UK x Bechtel Corporation: opening up engineering for the next generation Future Leaders is proud to be launching our engineering programme with Bechtel, one of the largest engineering firms in the world. Through a three‑visit programme, young people will explore different types of engineering in real workplaces, meet diverse professionals across disciplines and start to see which paths feel right for them. For students who rarely get access to environments like this, standing inside a global engineering firm turns “maybe one day” into “this could be me.” It builds skills, confidence and insight that feed directly into applications for work experience, apprenticeships and future roles. This is social mobility in action: where a young person starts no longer decides where they are allowed to go.
