There aren't many brands more iconic than Coca-Cola.   Day 1 of the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners x Future Leaders programme gave students a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world's most recognised companies while developing the skills that will support them in their own careers. We kicked off the day with an icebreaker that challenged students to introduce one another, encouraging them to build connections, communicate confidently and step outside their comfort zones from the very start. Throughout the day, students worked in teams to tackle a series of challenges designed to develop the skills that bridge the gap between education and the world of work. From collaboration and problem-solving to communication and presenting ideas, every activity provided an opportunity to practise the skills that are essential when applying for apprenticeships and early career opportunities. Alongside the challenges, students learned more about Coca-Cola as a business, explored the apprenticeship opportunities available within the company, and gained valuable insights into topics including investing and long-term financial decision-making. What stood out most was the enthusiasm students brought to every activity. They asked thoughtful questions, embraced new challenges, and showed a genuine curiosity about the opportunities available to them. At Future Leaders, we know that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not always distributed equally. That's why experiences like this matter. Social mobility is about more than opening doors; it's about giving young people the confidence, knowledge, and networks to walk through them. By connecting students with leading employers, real-world experiences and professionals who have been in their shoes, we're helping to make those opportunities more accessible and ensuring that ambition is not limited by background. A huge thank you to Sharon Blyfield OBE, Chartered FCIPD, and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners for investing their time, sharing their expertise and helping open the door for the next generation of talent. #FutureLeaders #CocaCola #SocialMobility #FutureTalent #EarlyCareers #Apprenticeships #SkillsForSuccess #Leadership #CareerDevelopment
