Accelerating towards full power at LIPAc! ⚡ Momentum is building at the LIPAc prototype accelerator in Rokkasho, Japan. The project financed by Europe and Japan has entered commissioning, paving the way for a sequence of tests until it reaches unprecedented levels of operation. The European and Japanese teams have begun warm conditioning, feeding radio frequency power into the system. Next, they will cool it down and later start beam operations, gradually ramping up its performance.
