A deep dive into fusion, Big Science and AI at the DONES Xcitech School 🎓 50 international participants joined the Xcitech School on Science and Technology in Granada, Spain. The week was filled with interesting lectures by experts from academia, industry and Big Science Organisations like F4E and CERN. Students attended two main courses: 𝘐𝘍𝘔𝘐𝘍-𝘋𝘖𝘕𝘌𝘚 𝘪𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘩 and 𝘈𝘐 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩-𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 & 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨. They also had the chance to enter the IFMIF-DONES facility and learn first-hand about its technologies and future operation. The school aims to train and inspire the next generation of fusion professionals. F4E supported with two scholarships for young women, awarded to Verónica Ibeas Fernández and Paula Ollero Sánchez.
