🍄 First two FunDive fungal occurrence datasets were published to #GBIF! The dataset “FunDive: Monitoring and mapping fungal diversity for nature conservation” includes 878 occurrence records that belong to 473 species, with georeferenced records, photos, and DNA sequences. A second dataset, “Mycological Reports. Part 6”, published by the Polish Mycological Society, adds 384 fungal occurrence records and 237 species from Poland, including rare and Red-listed fungi. This work helped us develop GBIF publishing practices for fungal occurrences coming from multiple sources; a pipeline that will support the publication of integrated data from citizen scientists, mycological societies, fungaria, and research groups. Many thanks to the #PlutoF team and GBIF ECA nodes for their support and discussions. Datasets🔗:https://lnkd.in/dhSUgxfa #FunDive #GBIF #Biodiversa #CitizenScience #opendata
