New publication! 🌟 The paper “Cave Chronicles: Unveiling the Reproductive Biology and the Tadpole of Leptodactylus laticeps, a Vulnerable and Endemic Species of the Dry Chaco” is now out on Ichthyology & Herpetology. Within the frame of the Kururu Pytã project, this study assesses previously unknown aspects of Leptodactylus laticeps’ reproductive biology, and describes its tadpoles for the first time! This work contributes to our knowledge of the species and its conservation 🐸 🌾 None of this would have been possible without public universities and the public investment that supports scientific research. We also want to thank The Rufford Foundation, Conservation Leadership Programme, IDEA WILD, Conservation Nation, and Neotropical Grassland Conservancy for supporting our work throughout the years. 📄 You can read the full issue in our web: https://lnkd.in/dnm-ZFY8
