We're proud to support social workers to develop and test new ideas. Joe Briel's story shows what can happen when those ideas are given the space, support and funding to grow. Through Frontline's Innovation programme, Joe developed ReWired: a programme helping young people with experience of care and children's social care access pathways into the creative industries. Since launching, ReWired has already worked with 60 young people through mentoring, training and paid work opportunities. This work was recognised a few weeks ago when Joe received the 2026 Frontline Award for Innovation. Thank you to The Portal Trust for supporting our Innovation programme and for sharing Joe's story.
