Live from the World Conferences on Research Integrity 2026: AI is already part of how research gets done, across writing, analysis, and peer review. Our recent white paper made that clear. What’s becoming clearer now is that adoption is moving faster than the systems around it. At WCRI, Simone Ragavooloo shared insights that point to the same tension: the gap between use and oversight is growing, and that has real implications for trust in the research record. So the conversation is shifting. It’s less about whether AI should be used, and more about how it’s used, understood, and made accountable in practice. That means: • Raising AI literacy across the research community • Being far more transparent about where and how these tools are applied • Building systems designed for research workflows from the outset At Frontiers, we’re already working across these priorities through initiatives like our AI Playbook, which supports responsible AI use, and AIRA, our AI teammate designed to enable trusted peer review at scale. 👉 Explore how to use AI responsibly in research: https://lnkd.in/exPKt-bd #WCRI2026 #ResearchIntegrity
