As part of the Frontiers of Flight Museum's Field to Skies initiative, students will participate in a one-of-a-kind summer experience that blends the excitement of soccer with hands-on STEM learning. Using specially designed drones enclosed in protective frames, students work as teams to navigate an aerial arena and score goals while learning the fundamentals of flight, engineering, strategy, and communication. Drone Soccer is more than a game. It introduces students to real-world aerospace concepts, encourages critical thinking and teamwork, and provides a pathway to explore careers in aviation, engineering, robotics, and emerging technologies. This summer's program will culminate in a public Drone Soccer Cup, where students can showcase the skills they've developed throughout the camp experience.
