From losing almost everything in the 2022 floods to rebuilding her dairy farm step by step, Musarrat Parveen’s story is one of resilience and determination. 🥛 Musarrat and her husband once ran a small but stable dairy farm in Pakistan. When severe floods hit their village, most of their animals were lost and the family was left without a reliable income. Still, Musarrat was determined to rebuild her farm and create stability for her family again. In partnership with Bank Alfalah, our team visited the village and provided financial support on accessible terms. This helped Musarrat take the first steps towards rebuilding her farm. Our dairy development team then continued to support her through training and hands-on mentoring, from selecting high-quality animals and ensuring balanced feed to constructing proper cow sheds and maintaining animal health. Today, she owns healthy animals producing milk daily. The additional income is helping support her household and her children’s education.
