The past two days with the Benelux team reminded me why getting together in person still matters. Yes, we aligned on our priorities and goals for the year ahead. But what I’ll remember most are the conversations and connections that happened around the workshops. One exercise focused on sharing our personal values. What struck me was how accurately those values reflected people’s personalities and how they show up every day as colleagues, leaders, and teammates. It reinforced something I strongly believe: understanding what drives people is the foundation of strong teams. A few highlights that will stay with me: 🎤 Our karaoke band debut. Let’s just say there may be hidden talent in the Benelux team… to mention a few names Jaap Dijkhuizen, Terrence Hotting, Michel Delfosse… ☕ A great conversation with Matthijs van Laar, where we discovered how much heritage and life experience we have in common. Funny how quickly connections form when you move beyond work topics. 😂 Watching Iulian Daniel Golea make a determined campaign to join the “Fantastic Four + Don”. I’m still laughing about it. A huge thank you to Ramses de Jong for pulling together such a fantastic venue and experience in a remarkably short timeframe, and to Joffray Anduze for bringing us all together. I’m leaving with even more appreciation for the talent, personalities, and diversity of perspectives across this team. The OneGenesys mindset isn’t something we talk about.
