#Astrophysics is shaping both our view of the cosmos and our way of talking to each other in a fragmented world. We were honoured to host our Kensington Conference at the French Ambassador’s Residence, with a keynote speech by Kumiko Kotera, Director of the Institut d'astrophysique de Paris, Sorbonne Université & leading specialist in high energy cosmic particles. She will help us explore the “violent universe” of black holes, supernovae and cosmic messengers, and discuss how scientific cooperation and women’s leadership in research can foster dialogue across borders.
