Exclusive: Representatives from ASML and NXP will be among the 17 business executives set to travel with Dutch Trade Minister Sjoerd Sjoerdsma to China in July, not Nexperia due to the ongoing lawsuit, a source familiar with the planning said. Executives had one condition though -- Sjoerdsma should not bring up human rights issues or arm sales to Taiwan, the source said. Dutch policymakers are currently navigating escalating pressure from the United States over semiconductor supply chains. Sjoerdsma was in DC on Tuesday where he discussed the Match Act with Howard Lutnick and signed an agreement for the Netherlands to become a full member of the “Pax Silica” initiative. https://lnkd.in/eBfzBxdE
