𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱. Lecturing Series - Learning has always been a cornerstone in ecosystem building. Over the past two weeks, I had the privilege of delivering 3 x 2-hour classes at #PolyU on venture building—covering fundraising, GTM, the number game, and Dao & techniques— and another 3-hour immersive workshop with the #HKU Super Angel Network on venture investing from zero to one. It was an intensive period of sharing and discussion. Preparing for each session is no small feat—every lecture easily requires 3x the prep time. A big thanks to the team, who put in over 15 hours behind the scenes to make this happen. At the core of these sessions, we spoke about “visions”—whether from the standpoint of founders or investors. For us, the vision is clear: a more educated ecosystem leads to higher success rates for Hong Kong’s spin-offs, and in turn, stronger outcomes for investments. Still, this is just the beginning. This work isn’t about “giving back,” seeking recognition, or public services — it’s about fulfilling a responsibility. As practitioners on the frontline, when you have the capacity to make a rightful impact, you also take on the duty to do so. I’m grateful for the strong feedback from participants—it fuels us to continue. As I reminded the class, learning is lifelong, and in today’s world, it can even be costless.
