Starting Our Series on Digital Innovations in ORCHESTER with the #MagnetPredictor! We are excited to kick off a new series that showcases innovative digital products and solutions developed within the Fraunhofer-Leitprojekt ORCHESTER. Today, we spotlight the MagnetPredictor, an innovative tool designed to analyze complex magnetic phases, recently renewed to describe #Nd2Fe14B. This tool enables users to explore the magnetic properties of intricate material compositions, offering valuable insights into industrial applications. With new data, an advanced machine learning model, and a user-friendly interface, the MagnetPredictor allows for efficient, comprehensive analyses so that researchers and engineers can benefit. Why is this important? NdFeB-based magnets account for about half of all #hardmagnets used globally. They play a crucial role in the #energytransition, particularly in wind turbines and electric motors. As the recycling process for these magnetic materials becomes increasingly important, understanding the impact of foreign substances on their properties is essential. Key Features of the MagnetPredictor: 📌 Interactive Composition Adjustment: Easily modify chemical compositions to predict magnetic properties in milliseconds 📌 Comprehensive Data Generation: Instantly generate and download datasets for varying element concentrations 📌 User-Friendly Interface: Designed for ease of use, making complex analyses accessible We are pleased to announce that soon we are going to integrate the MagnetPredictor into the ORCHESTER #digitalecosystem, providing a seamless interaction as a fully integrated digital product.
