#Figureofthemonth Even 200 years after his death, our namesake Joseph von Fraunhofer embodies the principle that still defines the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft today: the Fraunhofer model, which links scientific excellence with practical application to create market-ready innovations. This also applies to Fraunhofer IZM, where researchers have been collaborating with industry partners for over 30 years to develop robust and reliable microelectronics for a wide range of application fields.
