Permanent magnets are essential for many next-generation #microsystems. Integrating them at wafer level is the real challenge. This is exactly what #PowderMEMS®, the patented technology developed at Fraunhofer ISIT, was designed to solve. PowderMEMS enables the wafer-level integration of high-performance permanent micromagnets directly into silicon and glass substrates — compatible with pre-processed wafers and without complex post-assembly of discrete magnetic components.
