Imagine lightweight, transparent smart glasses that seamlessly blend the digital and physical worlds and that enable new possibilities in healthcare, manufacturing, mobility, education and beyond. That future is one step closer with our 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 "𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄", an international collaboration bringing together leading researchers from Germany and Taiwan to develop next-generation transparent augmented reality displays with: 🔹Over 10,000 dpi resolution 🔹More than 65 % light transmittance 🔹Innovative micro-LEDs, semi-transparent CMOS circuits and metalens arrays By combining expertise in microelectronics, display technologies and semiconductor innovation, the project is helping lay the foundation for the next generation of wearable AR devices.
