We were delighted to welcome a South African delegation to Fraunhofer IGCV as part of a study tour on research, development, and innovation within the battery value chain. 🔋 The delegation – comprising representatives from government, industry, and research institutions – visited us under the »H2.SA II / Battery Value Chains Programme«, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH and commissioned by Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) with co-funding from the European Union.   During the visit, we exchanged perspectives on: 🔹 Advanced manufacturing technologies 🔹 Battery production and industrialization pathways 🔹 Innovation ecosystems supporting the energy transition   Such international dialogue is essential for fostering collaboration and supporting the development of resilient and sustainable battery value chains globally.
