Simon Kothe. They succeed Dr. Dirk Niermann, who has shaped the Fraunhofer IFAM Stade branch since 2009, building it into a globally renowned R&D hub. He will now focus on establishing the aerospace business unit at Fraunhofer IFAM in Bremen, Germany. This transition marks a strong commitment to the future: Fraunhofer IFAM in Stade will be further developed as a leading innovation center for automated, digital and AI-supported production, driving the transfer of research into industrial applications, particularly for the next generation of efficient aircraft.
