5.7 million travelers flew via Frankfurt Airport in May. Supported by the timing of holidays and school vacation periods, the figures represented year-on-year passenger growth of 2.7 percent.  In Europe, destinations in Southern Europe saw particular traffic increases. Meanwhile, destinations in the Far East, Africa, and Latin America were beneficiaries of long-haul growth.
