I’m excited to share my latest publication with Springer! 🥳 Thanks for the great work Nicholas Böhnlein, Dr. Philipp Noll, Chantal Treinen and Marius Henkel of the TUM Cellular Agriculture team. This bookchapter "Precision Fermentation for Functional Protein Production" explores how genetic and host engineering can overcome microbial limitations to produce sustainable, high-functional proteins at scale. Industrially relevant titers (>50 g/L) are achievable by leveraging genetic engineering and molecular process control, offering a scalable alternative to resource-intensive production systems.
