Love conquers all. And in #2020 ‘all’ came to include social distancing and not being able to see the lower half of your prospective partner’s face. It was against this backdrop that #dating #app Bumble launched a campaign to encourage people to #date (safely) even in these bizarre times. There was no way the copy-led campaign, full of puns and clever wordplay, could be literally translated into a new #language. Which is why, when the time came to launch in #Germany, #Bumble campaign creator Alexandre Holder enlisted #franklyfluent’s help. German Editor extraordinaire Anna van Ommen was charged with overseeing the #adaptation, sorting the killer from the filler, and making sure the #campaign rang true for a #German audience.
