🔙 #ThrowbackThursday to an incredible week at EUROPE EMBODIED 2026! Over five days, researchers, students, founders, and engineers came together in Munich to exchange ideas, tackle real-world challenges, and explore the future of robotics and Physical AI. Roundtables, a 48-hour hackathon with Franka robots, keynotes, and a live teleoperation demo with the FR3 Duo filled the week of collaboration, innovation, and hands-on learning. One insight from the keynote by our Team Lead AI Tools, Marian Körber, perfectly captured the theme of the week: "The embodiment defines the AI's observation and action space: what it can perceive, how it can interact, and ultimately what it is able to learn." The idea is simple but important: the body is not just a delivery mechanism for AI – it is where the real bottleneck lies. A robot's learning capability is fundamentally constrained by what its hardware can sense and execute. This is why we design our embodiments, such as the FR3 Duo and Mobile FR3 Duo, with high-frequency torque control, an integrated sensing chain from base to end effector, and precisely synchronized data streams. Together, these capabilities provide a clean and reliable foundation for learning, enabling robots to move beyond the lab and into real-world deployment at scale.
